North Sound ACH is not a philanthropic foundation, yet our intention and longstanding regional partnerships gives us the ability to assist with a few of the largest barriers to nonprofit and community-based work: leveraging funding and technical assistance.
We are committed to helping Collaborative Action Network partners find solutions through several methods.
- – North Sound Community Hub: An annual solicitation process seeking community organizations that currently hire community health workers, community health aides, doulas, peer support specialists or other care coordinators with lived experience.
- – Emergency supplies or support: As the region is confronted with health or weather related events (such as COVID, floods or wildfires) community members head to trusted organizations for information, support and services. North Sound ACH can support purchase of supplies needing during peak periods of response.
- – Sponsorship: While we do not provide traditional monetary event sponsorships, periodically North Sound ACH can support speakers, trainings, and support for regional events that reach community audiences.
- – Be*Well Empowerment and Well-being: Intended to support leaders in the North Sound region, especially those furthest from justice and equitable well-being, identifying paths to well-being. The amount available is set as the funds are announced.
- – Peer reviewed proposals: Annually a call for proposals is issued to provide financial assistance to Collaborative Action Network partners doing work in defined areas set by the team each year.
- – Catchafire: Collaborative Action Network partners can apply for volunteer support through a North Sound specific portal, reaching a vast network of professionals looking to volunteer with nonprofit organizations like yours.
