5th Annual Race and Health Equity Conference – May 9, 2025
Let Grow Together, Register Today!
Healthcare professionals from around the region have united to advance health justice and eliminate racial health inequities. The North Sound Race and Health Equity Alliance hosts an annual conference, bringing speakers and discussions to learn more about regional health inequity and how we can take action to better serve the needs of all patients. The Alliance also established the North Sound Health Equity Scholarship (view scholarship website here), which supports students of color on the path to receiving their advanced medical degrees and increases diverse representation in health care in the North Sound region.

Health Equity Scholarship
Designed to support students of color pursuing advanced medical degrees and increase diverse representation in North Sound healthcare. The Alliance accepts applications from September 15 – October 31 each year, students of color pursuing an RN, BSN, ARNP, PA, MD, or DO degree with the goal of working in the North Sound region, are encouraged to apply!
Scholarships make a difference by removing financial barriers and showing students that someone believes in their future. For underrepresented students or those facing additional barriers due to their skin color, a scholarship can be life-changing.
Join us in increasing the representation of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in our healthcare teams, creating a community where everyone has access to the best care to be healthy and thrive. Last year, thanks to your support, the Alliance raised over $5,000 for the North Sound Health Equity Scholarship!
