Marco joined North Sound ACH in August 2021 as a Program Manager, having most recently worked in Mount Vernon Schools as a Migrant Graduation Specialist and at Northwest Educational Service District 189 as an Educational Advocate. He studied American Cultural Studies for his bachelor’s at Western Washington University, and earned a Master’s degree in American Studies specializing in Political Science, History and Law from Heidelberg University.

He is driven to fulfill the need in our community to have access to resources that will enhance our wellbeing. His personal experience as a child of farmworkers makes his work at the ACH meaningful because he said he is able to be in a place where he can be in solidarity with those farthest away from racial and social justice.
