Lindsay Knaus joined North Sound ACH in March 2019 as a Program Manager. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Western Washington University prior to earning a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) and a Master’s of Public Administration (MPA).
She has eight years of experience working in both direct and indirect patient care settings; providing care as a medical social worker in the hospital system and most recently, as a project manager overseeing contracting, procurement, and behavioral health integration efforts in primary care. She is also knowledgeable in care coordination, rural health transportation, program design, and health information technology compliance.
Being able to coordinate care across complex systems and working directly with community members to build a stronger community from those who know it best is what makes her passionate about this work. Having both parents as social workers, the values she was raised with, having experienced her own hardships in life, to being where she is now is what makes this work meaningful and inspires her to give back to her community.
