Evelyn joined North Sound ACH in October 2022 as a Community Health Worker (CHW) on the North Sound Community Hub team! She brings 10 years of experience working in healthcare doing community outreach, and she has loved every minute of it! “If I am able to make a difference and make someone’s life even a tiny bit easier or better I strive to see that relief and happiness that overcomes a person from simply being heard and seen.”

Growing up, she knew the importance of community and being there for others whether it’s by actions or just lending an ear. Being able to provide those in Migrant camps health services, and get them connected to resources available to them, brought her joy. She is excited to jump into her role as CHW on the Community Hub team and get community members connected with services throughout the North Sound Region!
