We’ve received— and are now steadily distributing— 2.5 million masks donated to the State of Washington, thanks to support of the Washington Health Care Authority! Five semi trucks brought the masks north, with the first delivery on August 11, and the last one on August 27. Many thanks to First Presbyterian Church in Bellingham, the Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization, and the Port of Skagit, for allowing us to store the masks on site while we arrange for distributions. ACH staff have been coordinating with organizations across the region to get these masks where they’re most needed, especially for individuals who are low income or have high exposure risk at their workplace.
If you work for an organization or know of a group that needs masks, please complete the linked form to place your request. We will be in touch soon to coordinate with you.
We’re grateful to have this opportunity to get PPE out to our region!
