Community to Community (C2C)

Community to Community Development (C2C) is a women-led grassroots organization dedicated to food sovereignty and immigrant rights. The migrant farmworker and Latinx community has been disproportionately impacted by the flooding crisis – many lost entire homes and belongings, farming equipment and produce, medication, food.

C2C promatoras are frontline workers helping these communities in north Whatcom County and Skagit County, and donations to the Solidarity Relief Fund support the promatoras work (many of whom were impacted directly as well), as well as safe shelter, food, and supplies for the families.

Whatcom Community Foundation

The Resilience Fund is investing in nonprofits working on the front lines of the emergency flood response – gift cards, financial support, healthcare and childcare, and more – to our community’s most vulnerable neighbors.

Generous local donors have created a pool of matching funds to support gifts made to the Resilience Fund for local emergency flood response and assistance. All individual donations will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $115,000. Donate here.

Peoples Bank

Peoples Bank is temporarily offering several programs to support families and businesses facing financial hardship or loss due to flooding in Whatcom and Skagit County. We are here to help you and your business persevere.
